Rhonda Lockwood was born in Viborg, South Dakota and has remained in South Dakota for the majority of her life.  She attended South Dakota State University from 1983-1987, wherein she graduated with a double major in sociology and political science and a criminal justice minor.  She worked at the Children's Home Society as a home-based therapist, until moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1990 to attend law school.  In 1993, Ms. Lockwood graduated with her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tulsa.  In May 1993, she began work at the Minnehaha County Public Defender's Office as an Assistant Public Defender.  In 1996, she left the Public Defender's Office and opened her own law practice, concentrating on criminal defense and family law.

 

Tressa Zahrbock Kool grew up in Volin, South Dakota and has lived in South Dakota most of her life.  She attented the University of  South Dakota with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice with a minor is Business.  She received her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Public Administration from the University of South Dakota School of Law.  Tressa worked at the Minnehaha County Public Defender's Office as an Assistant Public Defender from July, 2003 until April, 2006 at which time she joined Lockwood Law Office.
